Are your products easy to install?
Yes! As a matter of fact, we would call it simple! By only using common hand tools and carefully reading the instructions, installation is very easy.

Were you the first to market with a Trans Mule hard top?
Nope, but we are now the top manufacturer in the world for our style of top. One of our (former) competitors beat us to market by a few weeks with a plastic top. However, they are long since out of business. We can easily say that we have the world’s best-selling hard top for the Kawasaki Trans Mule. We have sold thousands of units, have a tremendous amount of Kawasaki dealers, and always keep products in stock. We do NOT wait for orders before making our products. As a matter of fact, we constantly keep making products to keep up with demands. Additionally, our patents which have been filed will ensure our unique designs will be around for years to come.

What tools are required?
On the hard top, a large Phillips head screwdriver, a 7/16” wrench, and a small adjustable wrench is all you need. On the drink holder, a small drill/bit, a Phillips screwdriver, and a 3/8” wrench is all you need!

Can my Mule be trailered with your top installed?
Yes. Our tops have been tested to legal highway speeds (here in Texas), up to 70mph. However, just like Kawasaki recommends on their small top for the one-seat 3010 Mule, we HIGHLY recommend that you quickly wrap a few small ratchet straps over the top and under the rollbars while towing. Why? While we have tested the product to 70mph safely with no straps, we cannot control the effects of Mother Nature. If a strong headwind is encountered, this can cause excessive stress on ANY product being trailered into a strong wind. Let’s say you encounter 30mph headwinds while trailering the Mule at 70mph…this creates a force of 100mph winds against the hard top which we cannot control. The top (without support straps) cannot handle this in our estimation. Installing a few temporary straps (or ropes) over the top only takes a few seconds and ensures a safe travel with your Mule on a trailer. By using this method, we have trailered our company-owned Mules all over the country to show Kawasaki dealers, without ever having a problem whatsoever. Safety and reliability only takes a few seconds. We cannot control or predict driving habits or the weather. Use a few straps and you can tow your Mule anywhere.

What about the ‘myths’ of having to raise, remove, or slide the top to convert from one to two seat mode, and/or use my dump bed?
Great question! First of all, you do NOT have to touch our top to change your Trans Mule from a one seat to a two seat configuration. Also, if you wish to use the dump bed feature while in the two seat (short bed) mode, no problems! Our top will not interfere with dumping the bed in the short-bed mode.

So, I can use the dump bed feature while in the short bed mode, and I can also change back and forth from one seat to two seat mode without a problem?
Absolutely you can. No problems at all!

What if I am in the long bed / one-seat mode? Can I use the dump bed feature?
Not in the long bed mode. We believe that most people bought the Trans Mule to have the flexibility of having two bench seats, and that the short bed mode is the most common configuration for the Trans Mule. We believe that seldom will people need to dump in the long-bed mode. The loaded bed will most likely be so heavy that you will need an electric bed lift.

But I see that Kawasaki offers a hard top that tilts up in the back? Why?
Kawasaki does indeed make a Trans Mule roof that tilts up. If you need to use the dump bed feature IN THE LONG BED MODE, perhaps this Kawasaki roof is more suited for you. We have missed a few sales opportunities with farmers who haul round hay bales and so forth, in the long bed mode. This is OK, since these folks had special needs. However, in most instances, a top which facilitates long bed dumping is not a necessary feature. Our hard top is about half the price of the models that allow for long-bed dumping, and is much lighter than the steel models that slide or tilt. Our surveys while designing this hard top indicated that very few people would ever use the long bed dump mode.

What if I need to buy multiple items? Is there a shipping discount?
Absolutely! Please call us for details.
